Safely Balancing Nature and Air Traffic

In an effort to eliminate aircraft-wildlife strikes, which can compromise safety and cause damage to aircraft and wildlife, the Cleveland Airport System is contracted with the United States Department of Agriculture to control wildlife at Burke Airport. A full-time Wildlife Biologist is on staff to control and trap wildlife on and around the airport.
