Preserving a Distinguished History

The International Women’s Air and Space Museum (IWASM) is a free museum located in the terminal at Burke Airport. Its mission is to recognize and preserve the significant contributions women have made to the history of aviation and space travel. Museum programs (available at no extra charge) include an annual family day, lectures, guided tours, career development seminars, and other special events. The soon-to-be-completed Education and Research Center will serve as a classroom to educate youths of all ages about careers and the history of women in air and space travel.
